Lisa Carrington has lead the Olympic team in New Zealand's history into Maracana Stadium for the closing ceremony at the Rio Games. The Kayaker was chosen for the honour after she became the first New Zealand female athlete to win two medals gold and bronze at a single Olympic games. We won 18 medals four of them are gold and are set to finish 19th on the medal table. The New Zealand team was 199 strong, making it the largest Olympic team we have sent to a Games. Kiwi Kids News
